Team building events are a great way to round off the year in style and who can say no to some Christmas goodies and festive treats while there?

But making these events extra special means ensuring they’re ethically sound and sustainably on point – not just for Christmas but all year round too.

As a winner of a Greengage 2025 Sustainability Silver Award, it’s so important that we’re making a real difference to delivering responsible events and related sustainable products and services.

We only deal with suppliers who also buy into this ethos and they play an integral part in contributing to some of our award-winning events.

One of those businesses we work with is Ethstat Ethical CIC (Community Interest Company), most recently at a conference in London we planned for more than 200 people.

It supplies branded merchandise, hampers and ethical coffee and lots more, to the corporate sector and use the work generated to rebuild communities and heal the planet.

It provides innovative, sustainable products and services with 100% of its profits reinvested to help street-homeless, prison leavers and families living with dementia.

The stats don’t lie when it comes to the impact of Ethstat – its social impact has topped £63m, it’s removed around 17m plastics and its carbon emissions saved beyond neutral tops 2.3 tonnes - not bad since only starting out in 2004.

Only a year later, Ethstat became the first office supplies company to achieve carbon neutrality and since then, they’ve never looked back!

We also love working with GOTO Events with their ethical and sustainable teambuilding options – they’re a dab hand at festive fun too.

With more than 22 years’ experience, they can offer more than 100 different events – each year ensuring more than 90,000 people enjoy some team building fun.

From indoor and outdoor events to charity challenges, sustainability experiences, company away days, evening socials, creative sessions, food and drink fun, virtual team building and more, there’s something for every team.

They can bring together 10 or 1,000 delegates for bauble decorating or wreath making, carrying out ‘Operation Christmas Tree’ which sees trees decorated and donated to families and communities in need or taking part in a charity knit-a-thon.

But it’s not just Christmas where they deliver the goods, they deliver all year round… click here to find out more.
