What a great finish to this year’s awards season!

Members of the Brighter team headed to The Belfry Hotel & Resort earlier this month hoping to bag the coveted Event of the Year prize, as well as the inaugural Executive Leader accolade.
And we’re delighted to say we were successful on both fronts!
The Unity Forum in Montenegro – for our clients One Global – won the award, seeing off competition from Whittle bury Park’s British GrandPrix and Meet & Potato’s Dunelm Annual Conference.

The team is now planning One Global’s next Unity Forum which will take place in Panama in May.
And Paul Casement, our Executive Director of Groups, Meetings and Events, was proud to take home his Executive Leader prize.
He said: “I was totally shocked, it was so unexpected. It means so much to have been put forward by my team unbeknown to me and it is such an honour to win, especially against very worthy nominees. It also means a lot that it is MIA, our industry and peer group - makes it extra special.”

MIA chief executive, Shonali Devereaux, said: “Each of this year’s winners embodies the spirit of excellence and resilience that keeps our industry moving forward and it is this drive and commitment that will keep our sector on track and thriving. This is a shining example of what can be achieved when passion meets purpose.”
Annabel Thorlby-Wilson was also highly commended at the Famtastic awards in the New Talent of the Year category the week before too.

These successes complete a successful year for Brighter which was also named micebook’s Best UK Agency.
